Style Three Ways

At CW Interiors we know that certain accessories and pieces can change the whole look of a room. Here are three of our favorite interior design trends and how you can use accent pieces, color, and more to incorporate these styles into your home.

Color Form

This trend is all about updating traditional elements with playful colors, sophisticated finishes, and organic shapes. Orchids or a Himalayan salt lamp work to add natural tones while succulents bring texture and color to the space. You can hang watercolor art to incorporate modern compliments, and pastel color variations create visual points of interest and pull the entire look together.

Gallerie

Weave color into your home with bold accessories such as wall art, vases, and flowers. Make any flower arrangement pop with an oversized vase (for extra flair, use a funky shaped or vintage vase). Glassware and small accent plates are great for blending form and function while making a statement. They bring bright colors into a room and are readily available for a last minute party. Watercolors work well with the Gallerie trend as well; use them to bring a splash of color and personality to any room.

TerraCottage

This trend uses rich, earthy tones and textures as the focal point. TerraCottage encourages the mixing of colors and patterns to achieve a global look. Woven baskets and textiles are important in bringing volume, softness, and textured details to the space. Emphasize the natural elements of the room with vintage book sets. You can arrange them by cover color to keep the well-loved, worn look of the TerraCottage trend while subtly adding splashes of color.
